Taken in Boston in 1984, Leslie Feinberg (ze/hir) was a political activist and a member of the Workers World Party, a communist-leaning party fighting for the rights and equality of all “oppressed peoples.” Taken at a meeting of WWP, Feinberg is seen here talking with attendees about fighting against AIDs, as well as the United States unlawful occupation of El Salvador. Ze was big on questioning the imperialist structures that plagued governments around the world, and is seen here on a national tour about the denial of HIV/AIDS that ze helped create.
