Love, Heather. “Diary of a Conference on Sexuality, 1982.” GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies, Duke University Press, 12 Jan. 2011, https://muse.jhu.edu/article/409150/pdf.

Prior to the 1982 Barnard Sex Conference, Carol Vance, Gayle Rubin, Beth Jaker many others compiled a program titled Diary of a Conference on Sexuality. The Diary consists of striking and distinctive images and artwork that were typically considered taboo at the time such as men in drag, a woman breastfeeding, and S&M participants. Along with the images, there is also scholarly work, political commentary, and personal reflections throughout the feminist collection.
